In January of 2011, the City of Whittier’s Harbormaster Office froze up and subsequently flooded. When AMLJIA was notified of the claim, Claims Manager Johanna Grasso and Claims Adjuster Jeff Lucas visited the site to inspect the damage. This professional response by the AMLJIA did not go unnoticed. Bob Prunella, City Manager in Whittier, commented, “I’ve been impressed with the way you handled this loss.”
Jeff Lucas revisited the site on December 9, 2011, to survey the nearly completed work with contractor Eric Gieser. During the meeting, Harbormaster Sue Miller noted, “Communication and response time was fast, and I am very pleased.”
